I agree and I agree and I agree…and no matter what I think about it, it’s still true.
We’ve been fed into the idea that a relationship is a whole structure made with 2 incomplete materials. If that was the case, there would be amazing relationships carrying over the same level of greatness and bliss throughout the years (which we know is false, yet we pretend/hope they’ll turn out that way).
The moment we throw away old beliefs about what a relationship IS, how a marriage should look like, what definition happiness carries into our couple dynamic, we will be way better partners, both as givers and receivers alike.
