Life is

I don’t pretend to have generally valid answers. I never thought we should define something essential for living within the limits of one, general, singular vision. I think having a concept over life, over death, over decisions is unique to each individual and life is as each of us sees it.

I wasn’t born to live with the current, confine inside a general, average societal construct. But that is my vision, the way I chose to see it.

That’s the beauty of living: being able and free to create your own vision of how you’re supposed to live, to feel, to act.

I think you were born for different reasons than me and it is your responsibility to discover those reasons.

Personally, my idea of living is being able to create abstracts when it comes to whether you should work a 9–5, whether you should own business, whether you should marry and have children or marry and roam the world with your partner. Or being monogamous. Or being single for the rest of your life.

These are all choices. Not enforced rules.

There’s no one forcing you to do anything and as soon as you see it for what it is, the easier it will be to be confident with who you are.

I think a lot of choices would feel easier if we had a sound sense of our Self. I think we tend to hide that Self, to silence it, to hide it away from others because we know that Self can be powerful, can do harm, can shout and push our buttons in a way no one can. We think the Self is an egotistical concept so we keep it small, hidden, mute.

But once we let it free and we create paths to have its voice heard, we realize: everything is a choice. Nothing is an obligation, a “have to”, a “should”, a “I’m supposed to”.

How will you make that Self heard?
