This makes me think “other people” are super motivated to do things, all the time, they keep on going, while you “just sitting there” means there’s no fight going on…
I can say, through my own perspective, that thinking on motivation as a motor engine for action is wrong and inaccurate. Motivation is a cyclical thing and most of the times based on strong emotional bursts.
What matters more is consistency. Consistency means you “fight” or…dance, or walk, or climb or crawl — at your own pace — but you do it. You keep going, whether the goals are internal, external, material, emotional, mental. No matter the shape, definition or status of a certain goal, what matters is it’s relevancy to you and that you put in the good enough consistency to keep it going.
